The guide

How much does SEO cost in the Philippines?

There is no single price. SEO is priced by scope, so the honest answer starts with your site, your competition and your goals.

Short answer: it depends on how big your site is, what is wrong with it and how competitive your market is. Be careful with anyone who quotes a price without looking at your site first, and with anyone who guarantees rankings.

How SEO is usually priced

  • One-time audit. A fixed-scope review of your site that ends with a prioritised list of fixes. A common starting point.
  • Project work. A defined job, such as fixing indexing problems, rebuilding site structure or adding structured data.
  • Monthly retainer. Ongoing work such as content, monitoring and reporting. It suits sites that need steady improvement over months.
  • Hourly. Useful for small tasks or a one-off consultation.

What changes the price

  • The size of your site and how many pages need work.
  • The current technical condition: indexing, speed, structure and markup.
  • How competitive your keywords are, locally or nationally.
  • How much new content has to be written.
  • Who makes the changes: you, your developer, or the SEO.
  • How much reporting and communication you want.

Freelancer or agency?

A freelancer, like me, usually means direct contact with the person doing the work. An agency offers a larger team and a wider range of services, often with more overhead. Neither is automatically better. Compare the scope, the process and the people, not just the price.

What you should get in writing

  • A clear scope: what will be done and what will not.
  • Deliverables you can check, such as an audit report or a list of completed fixes.
  • Ownership of your own accounts, including Google Search Console and Analytics.
  • Plain-language reporting on what changed and why.

Red flags

  • A guaranteed number one ranking. Nobody controls search results.
  • A very low price with a vague scope.
  • A quote with no look at your site first.
  • Secret methods the provider will not explain.
  • Bulk paid links, or the provider holding your accounts or domain.

How I approach it

I audit first. I crawl and measure your site before changing anything, then fix what blocks traffic today before smaller details, and report in plain language. That is also why I base any quote on what the site actually needs. See my SEO audit services, or contact me to talk about your site.

Frequently asked questions

How much does SEO cost in the Philippines?

It depends on scope. Price varies with the size of your site, its technical condition, your competition and whether you need an audit, project work or an ongoing retainer. Ask for a written scope instead of comparing headline prices.

Is SEO worth it for a small local business?

Often, when customers search for what you offer, such as a salon, barbershop or restaurant in their area. SEO is gradual and nobody can promise results, so start with the fixes that block traffic today.

Should I start with an audit or a monthly retainer?

If you are unsure, start with an audit. It shows what is wrong and what to fix first. A retainer makes sense afterwards, for ongoing content, monitoring and reporting.

Can anyone guarantee SEO rankings?

No. Search engines decide rankings, and they change often. A guarantee of first place is a red flag.

How long does SEO take to show results?

Indexing fixes can be picked up within days to weeks, once search engines recrawl the pages. Ranking and traffic changes usually take months and depend on competition and content.
